How Guardian Homes Works

     Females

You would be able to receive a puppy after a $500 deposit, raise and financially take care of her for her entire life as family pet. Once she reached 2 years/18 months of age or came into her 3rd heat cycle the breeder would drive to pick her up and she would return to our kennel to be bred with one of our males, after the breeder would returned her to you.

She would return a week before her due date and stay up to 7 weeks after to raise the puppies and then return home to you. She would be bred/give birth three times during her agreement.

After her last litter and the agreement has been fulfilled the breeder would sign all 100% of her ownership over to the guardian home, this would be the end of the contract agreement. In some cases at the end of the agreed time frame the deposit would be returned in the form of the dogs spay cost or a puppy from last litter.

She would come with deworming, shots, all vet papers and microchipping. At 6 months and 2 years of age she will be x-rayed for hips/elbow and other possible genetic complications at cost of the breeder.

We have a few clients who offer guardian homes for our dogs and many like the weekend  "dog break" they find it’s a great time to go on a quick vacation, have some dog free time or just have fewer responsibilities for that time. The dogs are owned and property of the breeder until agreement term is complete

     Males

You would be able to receive a puppy with a $500 deposit, raise,  take care of him for his whole life as your family pet. Once he reached 6 months and again at 2 years of age he may be x-rayed for hips/elbow and other possible genetic complications at cost of the breeder. When one our female dogs are in heat the breeder will notify the males guardian home 5-10 days prior to breeding, then breeder would drive to pick him up and he would return to our kennel to be bred with one of our females, after the breeder would returned him to you.

A stud’s guardian home agreement can vary in length of time

After his agreed upon time frame is completed the breeder would sign all 100% of his ownership over to the guardian home, this would be the end of the agreement.

He would come with deworming, shots, all vet papers and microchipping.

We have a few clients who offer guardian homes for our dogs and many like the weekend  "dog break" they find it’s a great time to go on a quick vacation, have some dog free time or just have fewer responsibilities for that time. The dogs are owned and property of the breeder until agreement term is complete

In some cases at the end of the agreed time frame the deposit would be returned in the form of the dogs neuter cost or puppy from last sired litter.
